A large, deep-water terminal where crude oil and products are delivered by .. "super-tanker" (LCCV) (q.v.) and transshipment of product is by smaller tankers. Such terminals have large storage capacities and high-volume unloading facilities to accommodate the mammoth vessels that carry more than two million barrels of oil each trip.
